Dell front panel connector pinout
Joined Dec 25, Messages 4 0. Today i got a new case Source and a new 3TB Hardrive. My old case, the dell xps one couldn't support this new upgrade. I have spent most of the day fitting everything and i am certain everything is in the right place.
However, the pins are confusing me. It is and 11 Pin and i have tried the suggested patterns online and it just won't start.Office 365 license types

Everything is connected to the mother like it was in the old one. I was grounded the whole time, and the solid orange light supposedly tells me that there is current running through my Motherboard.

The pins 1, 2, 9 and 10 are connected to the cable shield. It will work fine. You may swap the wires of the connector to be able to connect this front panel into a generic motherboard. I was looking for a pin out diagram for this motherboard so it could be placed in another non-dell case which did not have the block connecter. It has an additional 2 pin to provide 3.
